Heavy Duty Steam Coils
Discover the robust performance of Standard Steam Coils from Advanced Coil, engineered for industrial ventilation and process drying applications. Available in Model S and Model SU configurations, these coils provide versatile installation options and durable construction to perform reliably in demanding environments.
Whether you require opposite-end or same-end connections, our custom steam heating coils deliver efficient heat distribution and effective condensate management. Ideal for applications with incoming air temperatures above 40°F and stable steam pressure, each coil is built from high-quality materials such as stainless steel and aluminum to meet your exact specifications.
Trust Advanced Coil for reliable, high-performance steam coil solutions designed to keep your operation running efficiently.
Models Offered
Model S
Standard Steam Coil with Opposite End ConnectionsStandard steam coils, such as the Model S, are designed with connections on opposite ends of the coil. In this configuration, steam enters the supply header, where it is evenly distributed across all tubes by an internal baffle plate. As the steam travels through the tubes, it condenses and releases heat, with the condensate draining through the return header for efficient operation.
These custom steam heating coils are commonly used in industrial ventilation and process drying applications across a wide range of industries. As a general guideline, coils in this series are ideal when incoming air temperatures exceed 40°F and the steam supply pressure remains stable.
Model SU
Standard Steam Coil with Same End ConnectionsThe Model SU coil features a two-row deep design with both the steam feed and condensate return connections located on the same end. Each circuit incorporates U-bend returns on the opposite end—hence the model’s name—providing efficient heat transfer and simplified installation in tight spaces
Standard steam heating coils are widely used in industrial ventilation and process drying applications across nearly every industry. As a general guideline, coils in this series are best suited for systems with incoming air temperatures above 40°F and a stable steam supply pressure.

Steam Coil Applications
Advanced Coil manufactures custom steam heating coils for a variety of applications & Industries including:
Steam Coil Configurations
Model S
These standard steam coils can be installed in three possible configurations:
- Horizontal Air Flow with Horizontal Tubes
- Horizontal Air Flow with Vertical Tubes
- Vertical Air Flow with Horizontal Tubes
Model SU
Because both connections are on the same end these coils can be installed in two possible configurations:
- Horizontal Air Flow with Horizontal Tubes
- Vertical Air Flow with Horizontal Tubes
